A italian tourist died this friday after being attacked by a shark in the Colombian archipelago of Saint Andrewat sea Caribbean. According to local media, the man was surrounded by several of these animals when he bathed in a rocky area of ​​cliffs known as “La Piscinita”. It was in this context that one bit his right leg at the thigh, causing a fatal injury.

“The sharks did not give him a chance to swim, he tried to scare them away with his handbut every time he did this they bit him,” a witness told the local channel TeleIslasalthough without clarifying the number of animals that were in the water or providing further details about the circumstances in which the attack occurred.

Already seriously injuredthe 56-year-old man, identified as Anthony, was helped by several people to get out of the sea.
