Shark Bite at Aquarium
FORT FISHER -- A diver at the North Carolina Aquarium in Fort Fisher was bit by a shark on Wednesday.
Diver Bruce Pennington was demonstrating in the Cape Fear Shoals tank for an educational program when he was bit in the hand by a sand shark.
Pennington's hand required a few stitches.
Officials at the aquarium say the incident was minor.
