Diver captures frightening close encounter with great white shark on headcam
If anything is likely to put you off going scuba diving, it’s this disturbing video that shows the moment Jimmy Roseman was forced to use a harpoon gun to fight off a great white shark.
The footage, taken off the east coast of Florida, shows a fin smacking the camera as a large white body swims past, quickly followed by the panic-stricken Mr Roseman searching for the attacker.
He managed to regain his composure, however, and kept his harpoon gun steady as one of the world’s most dangerous animals emerged from the murky waters.
As the beast approached, Mr Roseman was forced to stab using his harpoon gun in an attempt to scare him off.
