Shark bite victim flown to PBIA from Bahamas Victim taken to area hospital for treatment

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A shark bite victim from the Bahamas was flown to South Florida on Thursday for medical treatment.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Pat Wehrle said the victim arrived at Palm Beach International Airport after suffering a shark bite in the Bahamas.
Wehrle said the patient was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The victim's identity was not immediately known.
